How to begin

Discuss the needs
We will talk about the individual’s support needs, requested schedule, and current availability. Your coordinator can help confirm service authorization.
STEP 03
Plan together
If the service is a fit and the necessary authorization is in place, we will discuss the information, arrangements, and next steps needed to begin.
For waiver support coordinators
We welcome inquiries about Respite Care, Personal Supports, and Life Skills Development Level 1 (Companion). Contact our team to discuss the requested service, schedule, and provider availability.
For an initial inquiry, please share your name, professional contact details, the service requested, and a general description of the scheduling needs.

Have your preferred schedule or start timeframe ready, if known.

Common questions
Can I contact you before services are authorized?
Yes. We can discuss the services you are seeking and availability. Services can begin only when the necessary eligibility, authorization, and arrangements are in place.
Does respite include individuals who are age 21?
APD describes Respite Care as serving individuals under age 21. Your waiver support coordinator can help identify the appropriate service for someone age 21 or older.
